Job Opening: Assistant Manager – Health & Safety

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager – Health & Safety to oversee health and safety operations at our textile manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with statutory and internal H&S requirements, drive safety audits and training, and cultivate a strong safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and implement safety standards and SOPs across all operations
• Conduct shop floor audits and risk assessments to identify improvement areas
• Lead health & safety training programs and emergency preparedness initiatives
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal H&S guidelines
• Manage fire protection systems and periodic inspections
• Investigate incidents and facilitate root cause analysis with preventive actions
• Collaborate with department heads to implement and monitor safety action plans
• Promote and maintain 5S and continuous safety improvements

Candidate Requirements:

• ADIS from RLI, CLI, or recognized technical state board
• 3–5 years of experience in safety management within reputed industries
• Strong analytical and incident investigation skills
• Proficient in MS Office tools (especially Excel and database applications)
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken, written, and read)
