Assistant Manager - Finance and Accounts

Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Monthly book Closure.

Ensuring correct accounting approach for various transactions of Solinas under the Indian GAAP.

Ensuring revenue recognition happens in line with the order book.

Ensuring timely expense reports submissions are enforced through follow-ups and Escalations.

Review of Inventory flow for the period of reporting with appropriate questions raised on over consumptions and maintenance costs.

Ensuring that the team delivers MIS for review by the Senior Finance Manager well in advance. Audit readiness by ensuring that every months MIS is prepared at a high level of accuracy.

Project level cost accounting review, and review against budgeted costs.

Constant improvement in terms of value added from the MIS.

2) Support Senior Manager Finance and Solinas on adhoc needs:

The company is constantly in need of funds as Solinas enters a very promising growth phase. This requires constant support from the finance teams by way of sharing information with various teams for purposes like tendering, fund raise, or even working within the finance team on identifying cost leaks in the company.

3) Correspond directly with senior management, on information requests or questions of accounting treatment.

4) Project Level budget reviews to ensure Margins will be met and support on finalising the budget with Senior Manager Finance.

5) Supporting team to ensure budget is adhered to by different project teams through monthly reviews and through review of advances requested by project teams.
