Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts

You will be responsible for overseeing corporate accounting functions to ensure the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions. This includes leading the finalization of accounts, such as preparing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/Indian GAAP) and statutory guidelines. In this position, you will supervise month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring the timely reconciliation of accounts and financial statements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting policies. Additionally, you will lead the annual budgeting process, monitor budget variances, and provide strategic recommendations for cost control. You will be required to develop and maintain robust MIS reporting frameworks to provide key financial insights to management. This includes preparing and presenting financial reports, dashboards, and performance analyses for senior leadership. Your role will also involve supporting business decision-making through in-depth financial analysis and forecasting. As an Assistant Manager in Finance & Accounts, you will liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors. It is crucial to ensure the timely completion of statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits. Promptly addressing audit queries and implementing corrective measures based on audit findings will be part of your responsibilities. You will also work towards compliance with audit recommendations and continuously improving financial processes. Cost analysis and reporting will be another key aspect of your role, including monitoring direct and indirect project expenses. You will be responsible for maintaining cost records in ERP/SAP systems to support effective financial management within the organization.,
