Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Container Coordination & Loading Operations: Oversee container scheduling and stuffing processes to ensure timely dispatch and smooth logistics operations. Collaborate with internal departments, transport partners, and warehouse teams to optimize space utilization in containers. Ensure adherence to customer specifications for container placement. Track loading schedules and monitor shipments to ensure on-time departures. Pre-Shipment Documentation & Compliance: Ensure the accurate preparation of all pre-shipment documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading, in line with global trade regulations. Work closely with relevant teams to facilitate the timely submission of export documentation to customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders. Ensure full compliance with export regulations and industry best practices. Collaboration with Export Teams & External Stakeholders: Maintain coordination between sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of export shipments. Serve as a key contact for freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping agents. Address and resolve issues related to delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs clearance. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Stay updated on the latest export regulations across various regions to ensure adherence to international standards. Maintain organized records of export transactions, ensuring accessibility for audits and compliance checks. Prepare periodic reports on export performance, including shipment timelines, cost efficiency, and potential areas for improvement. Issue Resolution & Process Optimization: Identify potential bottlenecks in export operations and work proactively to enhance efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve shipping-related challenges to minimize disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Experience: 5-7 years of experience in export operations, ideally within the food or FMCG sector. Skills: Strong knowledge of export logistics, container loading, and pre-shipment documentation. Expertise in international trade regulations, customs processes, and shipping procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. Excellent communication and relationship management skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage operational priorities efficiently. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with major export destinations, including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, the USA, and Australia. Experience working with SAP B1 or SAP S/4HANA for export and logistics operations.
