Role: Asst. Manager - Operation & Logistic Position Title: Asst. Manager - Operation & Logistic Department: Supply Chain Grade/Level M1 Reporting To: Manager - Pre Shipment Reportees: 0 Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary) To achieve customer satisfaction by ensuring timely dispatch & error free documentation. Also ensuring profitability for all SKUs KEYPERFORMANCE AREAS Manage comprehensive pre and post export documentation across various payment terms. [PI, Inv, PL, BL, COO, Insurance, Inspection, etc.} Strategically plan logistics dispatch plan providers to optimize transportation costs and secure cost-efficient solutions. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate shipment schedule to customers for efficient execution of export orders Prepare daily dispatch plans, oversee container placements as per dispatch plan. Ensure timely arrival of containers at the plant for stuffing and the prompt release of loaded containers to port to meet vessel schedules and customs clearance. Liaise with government authorities and agencies to ensure compliance and secure necessary approvals and documentation. Review and manage Letters of Credit for export shipments, requesting amendments when necessary to meet compliance standards. Resolving shipment issues, including customs holds, short shipments, cross stuffing, etc. Attend to customer s mail for day to day queries. Track shipment and ensure timely delivery of final shipment to customers globally Should have knowledge of Letter of Credit. Incoterms, UCP600 & ISBP terms, Export Export Schemes - AA/DFIA/DBK/EPCG/RODTEP Documentation. Prepares dispatch reports, freight provisions, and (MIS) reports. Export Vehicle & Container Detention at Plant Export Vehicle & Container Detention at Port Export Container in Buffer cost Montoring & tracking the per kg cost for Ocean Freight Automation of export process related to Export operation/Logistics Process. Adherance to Export Compliances on Advance LIC reconcillations with subject to dispatch Mis operational followup ISF Filling , Export Operations & Customs Clerance and SB filling Tracking Customer Complain & resolve in 3 working days. On Time Container Placement for Export dispatch at plants against the dispatch plan. Monthly MIS No.of Kaizens,QIPs & Revision of SOPs KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Reduction in TAT of Exports vehicle / container at plant for stuffing below 24 Hours Reduction in TAT of Exports vehicle / container at port for on boarding & gate in at port below 48 Hours SVC cost target acheivement Throught proper planning & optimization Strong Persuasion in line with business requirements. Monitor & track of exports ops cost Strong Negotiation with FF. Automation Reduction of manual intervention. Advance LIC reports Set of Internal & External Compliance for better control of Process and 100% Customer Complain / Query solve as high priority basis to retain the customer long time as well as Business Grow up. Timely placemnets of container at Bhandup & Ambernath plant for Export dispatches against the dispatch plan. Ensuring the receipt of bills from FF & CHA and on time onwards processing of bills & submission to accounts for payments followup with vendor for NDC for previous periods. Ensuring the detail analaysis and MIS for Exports SVC Cost, other reports & Dashboard QBM score - Export Operation and Logistics Education and Experience Required Education: Bcom/ BMS/MBA /Eng Experience:5-8 years RPG Group Apply now
