Job Description

As an External Field Sales Engineer (Disruptor) at Emerson, you will be responsible for managing and achieving sales for Emerson's Highly Differentiated Product Solutions (HDS) Products, Boundless Automation Solutions such as Wireless Technology Pervasive Sensors, Plantweb Software Analytics portfolio, and Tank Gauging Level system and corrosion portfolio for the Northern Region. Your ability to be persistent and tenacious in achieving set goals will be crucial for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Engage early with Key accounts, End Users, and OEMs, and ensure effective coverage of OEMs, EPCs, and End Users in the Northern region. - Manage Booking Targets and track all end user projects in advance, focusing on upselling HDS and Wireless Products. - Collaborate with the field sales team to meet or exceed Budget/Targets. - Plan travel to various end user industrial customer clusters, present to customers, identify decision-makers of upcoming projects, and collaborate with them for business. - Create demand for Emerson's Highly Differentiated Solutions (HDS) Products, Wireless Technology, Plantweb Software Analytics portfolio, and Tank Gauging Level system. - Develop relationships with key customer decision-making teams to gain market share of Wireless transmitter Products. - Expand the Wireless install base customers and engage in regular meetings with key customers for product differentiation and market development. - Collaborate with internal and external customers, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to Emerson Values and Ethics standards. **Qualifications Required:** - Tech Savvy with demonstrated good presentation skills. - Agile, result-oriented with a customer-centric approach and excellent communication skills. - Willingness to travel frequently to industrial clusters in the Northern regions. - Strong Customer Focus with Sales Experience in measurement technology field instrument products. - Enthusiastic, proactive, persuasive in dealing with mid/high-level customers and meeting sales targets consistently. - Ability to collaborate effectively and build a wireless funnel. **Preferred Qualifications:** - B.E in Instrumentation or equivalent Engineering degree from a reputed institution with 10+ years of experience in Sales. - Experience in field instrumentation transmitters, Wireless, Analytics Software, and level products is preferable.
