Title: Assistant Manager, Design
Business unit: Marketing
Reporting to: Design Director – Marketing
Key stakeholders: Global Brand Team
Shift timings
5:30 PM –2:30 AM
Duties & responsibilities
We are a multinational corporation providing real estate solutions to many of the world’s leading companies. In the complex world of JLL marketing our Graphic Designers are highly motivated and bring a wealth of experience to the day-to-day success of the team.
The role demands speed and skill, attention to detail, and creative storytelling.
As a senior designer in motion graphics & audio, part of the Global Brand COE team you must promote the brand’s best practice within the global brand team and ensure that all communication activities come up to standard by acting as a consultant, guide and champion to the brand.
As a JLL Graphic Designer you will be responsible for key aspects of design and creative output on video, motion and audio assets needed. You will be expected to take responsibility for visual ideation, filming, editing and delivery to clients such as:
Concepts, storyboard and produce video, motion or audio projects that effectively communicate messages.
Edit footage to create high-quality marketing assets.
Design and develop motion graphics for on-brand storytelling.
You are the guardian
The JLL brand is full of possibilities and pitfalls, and so for the team to create beautiful and inspiring work, we must face every piece of work with “How can this be better?”.
The Graphic Designer ’s job is to lead by example with ‘hands on work’ that consistently demonstrations masterful design and best practice. As well as leading by example, the Graphic Designer is there to support, cajole and encourage the business to make polished work they can be proud of. The role calls for attention to detail and consistent feedback, so you must be an excellent communicator who can discover the most inspiring ways to lift the use of the brand. Ultimately, the goal is to safeguard and augment the quality of day-to-day use of the brand identity whilst ensuring the smooth growth towards excellence.
You will champion design
You are at heart a design-geek. An important part of the role is understanding how the JLL brand can be leveraged by understanding all the disciplines of motion, video and audio design. As well as being a great designer yourself, you will encourage the creative team to look and share art, design and creativity beyond the day-to-day deliverables of a busy global team.
You will drive excellence
Our ambition is to be smarter and brighter than our competitors. We want to do better… to be award-winning, admired and to have our work shared around by our competitors in envy and hushed tones of reverence. To make this a reality, we must look to the future, understand our customers and their objective better, and inspire internal stakeholders to achieve greatness.
Travel and location
This is primarily a fulltime role based in a key JLL office following the Hybrid model. Ad-hoc remote-working when required and with ample notice, can be given at manager’s discretion. You may occasionally be asked to travel, so ability to take short trips domestically or abroad for filming is helpful but not essential to the role.
