Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Risk Management Department

As an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager in the Risk Management Department at Mumbai location, you will have the following responsibilities: Role Overview: - Assist in developing risk maps and strategic action plan for mitigating company's primary threats and continuously monitor the risk mitigation efforts. - Support in developing and disseminating risk analysis and progress report to executives, board members, and employees. - Assist in combining risk management priorities in line with the overall strategic planning of the company. - Contribute to develop and implement information and risk assurance strategies to protect against and manage risk related to the usage, storage, and transmission of data and information systems. - Assist in evaluating potential operational risks stemming from human errors or system failures to avoid business process disruption. - Help in developing strategies to reduce risk exposure and adequate responses in case the issues occur. - Assist in determining company's risk appetite and quantify the amount of risk as per the impact and likelihood. - Assist and support to implement and report the risk mitigation plan to avoid losses, failed procedures, systems, or policies. - Assist in preparations for the Risk Management Committee Meeting agenda and related documents. - Proactively keep a system-wide view and possess an understanding of all the risks (Enterprise Level Risks, IT risks, Operational risks, Reputational Risks etc.) to CDSL group and their inter-relationship. Qualification Required: - CA / CS / CFA / MBA preferred but not a deterrent for the right candidate. - Should have 1 to 5 years of experience in Risk Management. - Experience in implementation of Risk policies and Guidelines. - Experience in dealing with compliance/ regulatory matters. - Experience of working in exchanges, depositories, related financial institutions will be preferred. - Strong Analytical and Leadership skills. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders. - High ethical standards. - Any Recognized Risk Management Certification/ IT Risk Management Certification is desirable.,
