Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – R&D located in Bengaluru South. The role involves overseeing and guiding research and development projects, managing R&D teams, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager will also be responsible for developing new technologies, improving existing products, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires hands-on involvement in the testing and validation processes and collaboration with the engineering service team.

Qualifications

• Experience in research and development within the electronics or railway transport sectors
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards, including CMMI Level-3, ISO 9001-2015, and CENELEC SIL 4
• Proficiency in project management and team leadership
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field
• Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus
