Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager

As a Product Management professional at our company, your role will involve benchmarking competition machines and managing data across various product lines to create a comprehensive data bank for easy access and reference. You will be responsible for visiting customers to collect their feedback and convert opportunities into product development or sales tools. Collaborating with the sales team, you will identify product and feature gaps, leading to product development projects. Additionally, you will prepare business plan validations and pitch documents for products, while also training internal stakeholders on product features and functionalities to enhance customer interactions. Your responsibilities will also include working closely with the New Product Development (NPD) and Branding teams to create promotional materials such as brochures, leaflets, and application case studies. By analyzing data and industry best practices, you will recommend improvements in the design and specification process. Furthermore, you will be involved in product cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and life cycle management. Key Responsibilities: - Benchmark competition machines and manage data for easy access - Collect customer feedback and convert opportunities into product development/sales tools - Identify product and feature gaps in collaboration with the sales team - Prepare business plan validations and pitch documents for products - Work with NPD and Branding teams to create promotional materials - Recommend improvements based on data analysis and industry best practices - Manage product COGM and life cycle effectively Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in Product Management - Ability to influence stakeholders - Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large sets of data - Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally - Knowledge of product development life cycle - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Basic knowledge of design and engineering - Strong organizational skills Please note that the job location for this position is Coimbatore.
