Job Description

The role holder supports the Project Controls Lead in managing project schedules, billing oversight, day-to-day contract management, resource allocation and project tracking for assigned Roads, Railways & Metros. The role focuses in ensuring accurate budget monitoring and reporting. The Project Controls Associate plays a key part in tracking project performance, and ensuring projects remain aligned with the set schedules and budgets. Role & responsibilities: Project Planning and Scheduling: Developed and maintained comprehensive project schedules from pre-construction to completion for a cluster of projects in close coordination with the Lead. Defined baseline schedules, monitored progress, and provided regular updates to the Lead to ensure alignment with project timelines. Collaborated with Project Heads and the Operations Head to forecast and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment across multiple projects. Identified schedule deviations, conducted impact analyses, and supported timely corrective actions to mitigate potential delays. Cost Control, Budget Management, and Billing Monitored project budgets, identified cost variances, and proposed corrective measures to maintain financial performance and ensure expected returns. Coordinated with Project Heads and site billing teams to verify billing accuracy and ensure it reflected actual project progress. Worked closely with the Financial Controller to develop detailed project budgets, perform variance analysis, and adjust forecasts based on evolving project performance. Ensured timely preparation and submission of Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and project plan updates for all Change of Scope (CoS) and Extension of Time (EoT) cases within the assigned project cluster. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Prepared and maintained real-time dashboards to track key project health metrics, including cost, schedule, and quality indicators. Tracked and analyzed all change requests, evaluating their impact on budget, timelines, and resources. Assisted the Lead in feasibility discussions with Project Heads for effective change management.
