Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for executing the Sales & Engineering process based on the defined account strategy and implementing the Engineering-specific aspects of the business unit strategy at the customer interface. Your main focus will be on developing lasting customer relationships, identifying business trends, enabling cross-business collaboration, and maximizing BASF value. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular customer visits to establish long-term relationships, provide technical support, gather information on new projects, promote new applications, and monitor competitor activities. - Promote Cellasto NVH products by replacing competing and low-cost materials. - Analyze customer product designs and specifications, propose technical solutions, and manage complete project lifecycle from RFQ generation to EOP. - Proactively pursue new applications, conduct technical seminars, collaborate with the team for project nominations, and manage nominated projects till SOP. - Provide customer support by assessing RFQ inputs, designing Cellasto parts, proposing VAVE designs, coordinating internal teams, issuing sample and testing orders, and managing project documentation. - Manage customer complaints by analyzing failure modes, providing countermeasure solutions, initiating design changes, and coordinating with group companies for project management activities. - Support Sales & Engineering function activities, customer audits, and plant operational performance improvement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Engineering degree and CAD/CAM certifications. - 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Automotive TIER-I / TIER-II company. - Technical skills in designing automotive parts, knowledge of automotive product development process, documentation, and customer requirements. - Excellent communication skills, customer focus, collaboration, entrepreneurial drive, and innovation focus.
