Assistant Manager

As a Procurement Specialist at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process effectively. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing purchase requisitions (PR) from user departments, ensuring correctness and completeness by seeking additional information if required. - Identifying the type and method of procurement based on various factors such as material/services to be procured, nature of PR, availability of stocks, rate contracts, value, and delivery timeline. - Contributing to the strategic sourcing process for Capex, Opex, Bulk Material & Services by participating in activities like vendor selection, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract preparation. Your qualifications for this role should include: - More than 3 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, and related areas. In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, you will need to: - Prepare contract documents as per protocols and standard templates, set up approved contract records in the ERP system, and maintain them for future reference. - Prepare billing details and ensure timely delivery of ordered materials, address queries from vendors and internal stakeholders, and manage inbound logistics services. - Participate in supplier/vendor identification, onboarding, performance management, and engagement activities to ensure effective partnerships. - Assist in data analysis related to procurement activities, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to action planning based on data analytics.
