Job Description

Position Summary:-

Job Requirements:-

Contract Lifecycle Management - Drafting, vetting, negotiating, and closing commercial contracts like NDAs, MOUs, Service agreements, Artist Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Supply & Distribution Agreements, etc.
Managing the IPR Portfolio of the company & maintaining updated records of trademarks, copyrights, etc.
Developing and overseeing day-to-day legal functions & systems to ensure the company complies with all applicable legal and statutory requirements;
Briefing counsels and keeping track of the ongoing litigation matters;
Drafting Cease & Desist Notices, Recovery Notices and keeping track of the same
Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and taking appropriate actions to ensure the company is up to speed with the new policies/rules;
Dealing with POSH, Labour Laws, Property Laws, Civil & Criminal Laws, etc.
Advising on arbitration, negotiation, and conciliation in commercial disputes between the parties;
Maintaining legal documentation & records of all the commercial & non-commercial contracts of the company

Qualifications:-

Required Skills:-

Knowledge of Intellectual Property is mandatory
Knowledge of drafting
Vetting of Agreements
Good coordination & communication skills
