Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Job Title:

Job Summary:

The Sr. Executive will be responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and handling industrial relations matters. This role involves coordinating with government authorities, managing employee relations, and ensuring smooth compliance processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to all labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, etc.).
Maintain and update compliance records as per legal and audit requirements.
Prepare and file statutory returns and reports with government authorities.
Coordinate with external auditors and labor authorities during inspections.
Stay updated on changes in labor laws and ensure company compliance.

Industrial Relations (IR):

Maintain a positive relationship between management and employees/unions.
Handle employee grievances and ensure timely resolution.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations (Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, etc.).
Support negotiations and settlements with trade unions.
Manage disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and legal proceedings.
Coordinate with government labor authorities and represent the company in legal matters.
Conduct awareness programs on workplace policies and labor laws.
Maintain accurate records of IR-related activities and compliance reports.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Requirements

1. Must have handled outside Union.
