Department: Human ResourcesJob Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Assistant HR Manager to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including payroll and compliance, onboarding, recruitment, employee relations, policy development, employee engagement, and exit formalities. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Key Responsibilities:Payroll & Compliance:Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.Maintain compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.Manage statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS) and statutory filings.Ensure timely submission of statutory returns (PF, ESI, PT).Coordinate with external agencies for payroll processing and statutory compliances (if applicable).Onboarding:Develop and implement a smooth and effective onboarding process for new hires.Conduct orientation programs to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures, and culture.Ensure timely completion of all pre-employment formalities.Provide necessary support to new hires during their initial days.Recruitment:Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and background checks.Source candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, employee referrals).Build and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies.Employee Relations:Address employee grievances and concerns promptly and effectively.Conduct employee engagement activities to foster a positive and productive work environment.Handle disciplinary actions and investigations as per company policy.Maintain employee records and track key HR metrics.Policy Making:Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.Ensure that all HR policies are aligned with company objectives and legal requirements.Review and update HR policies periodically to ensure compliance and effectiveness.Employee Engagement:Plan and execute employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, social gatherings, and employee recognition programs.Conduct employee surveys and gather feedback to improve employee morale and satisfaction.Empanelement:Manage the process of empaneling vendors and service providers for various HR-related services.Exit Formalities:Handle all exit formalities for departing employees, including final salary settlements, return of company assets, and exit interviews.
