Position: AGM/ Sr. Manager- Process Engineering

Job Location: Oragadam, Sriperumbudur- Chennai

7+ years of relevant experience in solar industry*

Qualification: BE/ B.Tech

Specific Knowledge;

• Excellent knowledge of the solar module manufacturing process

• Deep Understanding of plant efficiency methods

• Excellent knowledge of the principles and practices of plant operation, including Production, Maintenance, Quality control, Health, Safety, Security & Environment and Material Management

• People Management / Administrative skills

PURPOSE:

Guide the execution of operations in the plant such as the production process, adherence to quality standards; facilitate process innovations and continuous improvements in the manufacturing process; Co-ordinate with other verticals/departments to ensure module manufacturing as per business plans.

Responsibility:

* Leading the team in carrying out production ensuring the required quality of products .

* Maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) through documented systems in alignment with the policies of the company.

# Ensuring that the business dose not sustain loss having primary responsibility towards product quality.

# Providing Cost- Effective solutions in the production process.

# Ensuring optimization of resources towards maximization of machine and human productivity.

# Monitor completion of daily , weekly and Monthly Process targets adhering to defined standards of cost, quality and time for own plant .

# Ensure efficiency management by analyzing the consumption pattern of various raw material/intermediate products, power and fuel utilization; understand deviations from the expected consumption pattern and initiate action if required.

# Guide the development and adherence to SOPs for all Process, quality and maintenance processes; Lead implementation of ISO, OHSAS certifications.

# Oversee planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to ensure that preventive maintenance is carried out as per schedule and downtime is reduced in order to maximize unit uptime and optimize capacity utilization of the Unit.

# Monitor Plant OEE/OLE to ensure optimum utilization of assets and resources on a weekly basis; Monitor loss due to breakdown of critical machines/lines and direct resolution.

# Monitor safety programs and resolve issues to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for the employees; Initiate prompt action to prevent or control abnormal/emergency breakdown conditions.

# Ensure that finished goods are manufactured as per the customer requirements in a timely and accurate manner and oversee coordination with SCM team for proper packaging and dispatch of the same leading to customer delight.

# Lead deployment of energy conservation and reduction of losses from plant operations.

# Work closely with R&D team for the ensuring adherence to quality standards, driving product & process re-engineering .

# Monitor adherence to the manufacturing process to achieve throughput yield and desired quality of products .
