Assistant General Manager

As an Assistant General Manager in the Travel, Tourism, and Hotel Industry in Pan India, your role is crucial in overseeing the operations of the property to ensure smooth functioning. Your responsibilities include: - Holding regular briefings and meetings with all heads of departments and team members. - Ensuring full compliance with Hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards. - Leading key property issues such as improvements, upgradation projects, customer service, and refurbishment. - Handling complaints effectively and overseeing the service recovery procedures. - Being responsible for preparing, presenting, and achieving the Property's annual Operating Budget. - Managing the ongoing profitability of the hotel by meeting revenue and guest satisfaction targets. - Making decisions in the best interest of the hotels and management. - Developing improvement actions and implementing cost-saving measures. - Maximizing room yields revenue through innovative sales practices. - Working closely with the revenue management team to devise methodologies for maximizing revenue. - Acting as the final decision-maker in hiring key staff at the property. - Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads daily. - Managing and developing the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and development. - Being accountable for the responsibilities of department heads and taking ownership of all guest complaints. - Providing effective leadership to property team members. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience of at least 6-7 years in the service industry is preferred. - Excellent communication skills. - Self-starter and willing to take risks. - Availability to work anytime, including weekends. - Excellent management and team skills. - Education in Hospitality or Hotel Management is mandatory.,
