Assistant General Manager- IT

AGM IT will lead the IT department in developing and implementing strategies to support the organization's business goals through technology. This role is responsible for driving system innovation, ensuring IT service excellence, cyber security, infrastructure management, and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead IT planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Guide and mentor IT managers, engineers, and support staff.

2. Infrastructure & Operations

• Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, data centres, and cloud services.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of IT systems.
• Manage vendor relationships and vendor management.

3. Digital Transformation & Innovation

• Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential for implementation.
• Lead automation, ERP/CRM upgrades, and digitalization initiatives.
• Foster innovation culture and promote agile practices.

4. Information Security & Compliance

• Implement robust cybersecurity measures and data privacy protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and audits.

5. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure minimal downtime and quick recovery during incidents.

6. Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business units to understand IT requirements and provide solutions.
• Report IT performance, risks, and progress to executive leadership and stakeholders.
