Assistant General Manager

In this role, you will lead area expansion and crop maintenance initiatives for oil palm plantations in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Your responsibilities will include conducting surveys to identify potential plantation zones, mobilizing farmers, overseeing nursery maintenance (including a 1 lakh capacity nursery developed in Krishna District), and implementing the ABC grading system for gardens to guide field staff on yield improvement practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead area expansion and crop maintenance initiatives for oil palm plantations in multiple states - Conduct surveys to identify potential plantation zones - Mobilize farmers and oversee nursery maintenance, including a 1 lakh capacity nursery in Krishna District - Implement the ABC grading system for gardens to guide field staff on yield improvement practices - Prepare feasibility reports and secure approval for oil palm development in specific districts - Design Key Result Area (KRA) reports, rank field staff, and manage department budgets - Introduce smart palm software and demo plots to enhance cultivation efficiency - Organize farmer training, village meetings, and exposure visits; launched a Telugu magazine for growers Qualifications: - Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Education: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in agriculture or related field - Experience: Experience in palm plantation management and working with farmers - Certifications: Any relevant certifications in agriculture or related field,
