Team Leader / Drone Pilots

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Drone Pilots across operational areas.
• Plan, allocate, and monitor daily/weekly flying schedules.
• Ensure compliance with DGCA and company drone operation guidelines.
• Supervise drone operations for mapping, and data collection.
• Train and guide pilots on technical skills, safety measures, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with agriculture/operations teams for field deployment.
• Review mission outputs (images, videos, data) and ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot operational and technical issues during field missions.
• Maintain logs of drone flights, battery usage, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure periodic maintenance and readiness of all drone equipment.
• Prepare reports and present updates to management on drone activities.

Key Skills Required

• Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
• Expertise in drone flying, mapping and data collection.
• Good knowledge of DGCA rules and drone operation regulations.
• Ability to analyse aerial data and coordinate with software teams.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability under field conditions.
• Good communication skills for coordination with multiple teams.
• Willingness to travel to different locations as per project needs.
