Assistant Front Office Manager

Role Overview: You will assist the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis at JW Marriott Goa, Vagator Beach Road, Goa, India. This includes overseeing Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk areas. Your role involves directing and collaborating with managers and employees to ensure an efficient check-in and check-out process, while also focusing on guest and employee satisfaction and maximizing departmental financial performance. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage team members - Supervise and manage employees, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations - Manage progress towards guest services and front desk goals, handling complaints and striving for service improvement - Provide exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and retention - Implement customer recognition/service programs and ensure compliance with Front Office policies and procedures - Handle guest problems and complaints effectively and participate in department meetings Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area OR - 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major from an accredited university At Marriott International, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where the diverse backgrounds of our associates are valued and celebrated.
