**Job Description:** As an Entry Level Management at Marriott International, your role involves leading and assisting in the successful completion of daily shift requirements in the front office areas including Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk. Your primary goal is to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while also achieving the operating budget. You will assist in completing financial and administrative responsibilities to contribute to the overall success of the operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage the Front Desk team, advocating for sound financial and business decision-making, and demonstrating honesty and integrity. - Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members, serving as a role model for appropriate behaviors. - Support all day-to-day operations and understand employee positions well enough to perform duties in their absence. - Guide daily Front Desk shift operations and communicate performance expectations to employees. - Manage day-to-day operations to ensure quality standards are met and customer expectations are exceeded. - Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work, handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances. - Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives. - Ensure exceptional customer service by providing services above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention, improving service quality, and handling guest problems and complaints effectively. - Implement customer recognition/service programs, review guest satisfaction results, and ensure employees have necessary supplies and uniforms. - Support human resource activities by identifying developmental needs, coaching, mentoring, and providing guidance to subordinates. - Perform additional responsibilities such as providing information to supervisors and peers, analyzing information to solve problems, and complying with loss prevention policies. **Qualifications Required:** - High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area; OR - 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with no work experience required.
