Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product and fixture designs in 2D and 3D CAD based on specifications or requirements.
• Prepare technical drawings, including customer, part, manufacturing, and machine drawings.
• Modify and update drawings to meet project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO drawing standards.
• Propose process improvements and cost-effective design solutions using standard components and processes.
• Maintain accurate records by storing drawings and data in the ERP system.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as manuals, conformity declarations, and work instructions.
• Perform additional tasks consistent with professional expertise and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelors degree in mechanical or plant engineering (or equivalent technical training).
• 1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in tool or mechanical design.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD tools (Solid Edge 2D required; familiarity with NX, Visi, or similar 3D CAD tools is an advantage).
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
