Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for tenders, proposals, and ongoing projects.
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine scope and requirements.
  • Maintain and update cost databases, vendor rates, and historical data for reference.
  • Support bid evaluations and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness.
  • Review subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations when required.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to inform estimation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all estimates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in estimation or cost engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, SAP, MS Excel).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
