Job Title Assistant Director, Strategic Initiatives Location Kollam, Kerala Required No. 1 Qualification PhD Job Description The Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships Advisor will support the University’s vision and mission by identifying, developing, and advancing strategic opportunities aligned with institutional priorities. The role focuses on strategic planning, cross-sector collaboration, partnership development, and reporting to senior leadership, contributing to the University’s long-term growth and impact. Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning and Evaluation Identify, assess, and evaluate strategic opportunities that support the University’s vision, mission, and long-term objectives. Ensure alignment of proposed initiatives with institutional priorities and academic goals. Strategic Initiative Development and Implementation Develop, coordinate, and implement strategic initiatives through detailed action plans. Establish timelines, milestones, and performance indicators to support effective execution. Monitor progress and address risks or challenges to ensure successful outcomes. Collaboration and Coordination Facilitate collaboration across academic and industrial establishments. Promote clear communication and coordination among internal and external stakeholders. Support joint activities that foster a unified and strategic approach to institutional goals. Partnerships and External Engagement Establish and maintain productive partnerships with external stakeholders, including industry organisations, community groups, and educational institutions. Strengthen the University’s strategic positioning through sustained engagement and collaboration. Reporting and Advisory Support Prepare comprehensive reports and provide regular updates to University leadership on the status, outcomes, and impact of strategic initiatives.
