Riya Mittal – The Label is a multi-varied design studio known for contemporary ethnicwear and custom-designed outfits. We are expanding our team and looking for a dynamic individual who can contribute to both creative design work and store management.

*Job Overview*

We are seeking a proactive, responsible, and fashion-driven Assistant Designer / Store Manager to support our day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of creative work, client interaction, and store supervision.

*Key Responsibilities*

Design & Creative Support

• Assist in design development, fabric selection, and coordinating with the production team.
• Support the designer during trials, fittings, and client consultations.
• Manage sampling, measurements, and maintain design records.
• Help with styling, shoots, and visual merchandising when required.

*Store Management*

• Oversee daily opening & closing of the store.
• Manage walk-in clients, handle enquiries, and offer styling assistance.
• Maintain store display, cleanliness, and customer-ready presentation.
• Manage inventory, stock counts, and order requirements.

*Client Handling & Sales*

• Provide a warm, professional customer experience.
• Maintain client data, follow-ups, and coordinate delivery timelines.
• Handle sales, billing, and cash management responsibly.
• Ensure all customer issues are resolved with brand-level service standards.

*Operational Coordination*

• Communicate with tailors, artisans, and vendors as needed.
• Track ongoing orders, production timelines, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist in social media tasks like behind-the-scenes content, trial videos, etc. (optional but preferred).

*Requirements*

• Education in Fashion Design or relevant field preferred (not mandatory).
• Prior experience in boutique/store/fashion studio is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a client-friendly approach.
• Good understanding of Indian ethnicwear and fashion trends.
• Basic computer/phone handling (billing apps, order logs, Excel).
• Should be organised, punctual, and responsible with store operations.
