Assistant Collection Manager

Job Description

Unsecured Loans is responsible for recovering due and overdue payments on personal loans without collateral. The role involves customer follow-ups, field visits, negotiating repayment plans, and updating collection records, while ensuring adherence to regulatory and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities: * Follow up with delinquent customers through calls. * Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, or restructuring offers as per company policy. * Educate customers on payment obligations, CIBIL effects and consequences of non-payment. * Update collection status, payment commitments, and remarks in the system. * Coordinate with legal or skip-tracing teams for difficult or unreachable accounts. * Ensure timely escalation of high-risk or disputed cases to supervisors. Requirements: * Minimum HSC/Graduate in any discipline. * 1–2 years of experience in loan collections or recovery (preferably unsecured loans). * Good communication and negotiation skills in local language and English/Hindi. * Basic knowledge of financial products and recovery processes. * DRA Certified.
