Job Description

Background:

  • HUL has significantly increased its focus on e-commerce as a channel, supported by higher investments
  • The candidate will identify growth opportunities and drive efficiency and effectiveness in the e-commerce channel

About the Role:

  • Represent the voice of the shopper, integrating Unilever shopper and category knowledge with custom research
  • Provide insights that provoke transformational business action and drive sustainable marketplace impact
  • Lead e-commerce and shopper insights initiatives, understanding omnichannel shopper behavior and decisions

Key Expectations:

  • Insights Leadership:
  • Provide fact-based, strategic, shopper-centric point of view
  • Communicate the voice of the shopper including attitudes, behaviors, motivations, barriers, and pain points
  • Connect insights to build integrated, inspiring category growth stories to inform business decisions
  • Effective Deployment and Content:
  • Drive impactful media capabilities on e-commerce to enhance brand superiority
  • Reinforce deployment principles and drive efficiency
  • Fill Knowledge Gaps:
  • Identify foundational and channel-specific knowledge gaps in e-commerce
  • Create and lead a research agenda to deliver actionable insights
  • Analytical Proficiency:
  • Comfortable analyzing sales, panel, and social media data
  • Leverage data sources to deliver actionable learnings and insights aligned with business objectives
