Job Profile

The Assistant Accounts Manager will play a vital role in supporting the company’s financial operations. This role involves assisting in overall account management, supervising accounting staff, ensuring timely compliance with statutory regulations, preparing accurate financial reports, and working closely with the Accounts Manager to streamline processes. The position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Manager in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Support in the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and other tax filings.
• Monitor and control company expenses to maintain cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance as needed.
• Support in finalization of accounts and year-end closing activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA/CA Inter preferred).
• 4–7 years of experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with taxation laws, GST, and compliance procedures.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
