About the role, Keynotes:

Profile : Assistant Accountant

Perks & Benefits:

Fixed Salary: 3,00,000 - 3,50,000 LPA

Variable Salary : As per targets achieved

Location: Darkins Chocolate, Okhla Phase 1, Delhi-110020

Type: Full-time

Operations: Monday to Saturday

Time : 9:00 am - 6:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold
  • Processing and recording transactions & Resolving account discrepancies.
  • Management of Information Reporting, Financial Statement, Complete Accounting, Accounts payable, TDS, GST, E-way bill generation
  • Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
  • Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
  • Working in collections along with reviewing accounts, client payments, credit history, and developing new or better repayment terms.
  • Performing administrative and tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
  • Generating reports and statements for internal use & company stakeholders.
  • Keeping the company’s documentation accurate and up to date
  • Maintain organized filing systems for company documents, records and Inbound/ outbound registers
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • To be part of a team that represents Darkins at various events.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bcom/ BBA/ BSc in Accounting, Finance or Inter-CA or relevant degree
  • At least 4 years experience in a similar role or Accounts Documentation Executive
  • Strong math and computer skills, especially with Zoho book or Tally software.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication / coordination skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office – Word / Excel / emails
  • Logistical Requirements:
  • Laptop with good processing speed
  • Smartphone with email capabilities

Hiring and Onboarding:

  • 2 rounds of interviews telephonic & inperson
  • 1 round of technical video Interview
  • Background and Logistics check
