Assistant Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Tally ERP, and be proficient in day-to-day billing, GST reconciliation, TDS reconciliation, and E-way bill generation. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to work independently and accurately. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and issue sales invoices in Tally. Perform GST input/output reconciliation on a monthly basis. Reconcile TDS deductions with 26AS and ledger entries. Generate and manage E-way bills as per compliance requirements. Maintain accounting records and documentation systematically. Assist in monthly closing and reporting activities. Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for billing and reconciliation queries. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field. 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting and Tally ERP. Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and E-way bill compliance. Proficient in MS Excel and accounting principles. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
