Assistant Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections.
Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor actual performance against the budget.
Tax Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, and prepare tax filings and reports.
Auditing:

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries, receipts, and other relevant documents.
