Asset Services Head - Senior Vice President

As an Asset Services Senior Vice President at Citigroup, you will be entrusted with a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operational execution of Americas Asset Servicing event processing. Your primary responsibilities will involve providing strategic leadership, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of client entitlements, conducting in-depth analyses to identify operational issues, and managing risks associated with business operations and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Lead teams responsible for reconciliation and processing of positions related to Income and Corporate Action events - Establish robust frameworks to ensure accurate and efficient execution of client entitlements - Conduct sophisticated analyses to identify root causes of operational issues and implement solutions - Ensure compliance with established procedures and controls, anticipating and responding to regulatory changes - Provide mentorship and strategic direction to team members, promoting continuous improvement and leadership development - Manage risks associated with business operations and drive enterprise-wide strategic initiatives focused on process efficiency and client satisfaction Qualifications: - 10+ years of progressive experience in financial services operations with expertise in Asset Servicing - Demonstrated strategic leadership and ability to manage large, complex functions - Expert-level understanding of cash flows, accounting treatments, and regulatory landscapes - Knowledge of investment instruments including Equity and Fixed Income securities - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - Proficiency in data analysis tools and enterprise software - Understanding of global regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management methodologies Education: - Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field required - Master's degree (MBA, MS in Finance, etc.) highly preferred Shift: - Night Shift Please note that the additional details of the company provided in the job description include Citigroup's commitment to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application process.
