Asset Management

The Asset Management Specialist position involves being responsible for IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM). You will be overseeing the asset lifecycle management, managing service delivery, ensuring data governance, and establishing and maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs). We are looking for an experienced individual to join our dynamic IT team as an IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist. Your role will involve managing and overseeing the complete lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring compliance, optimizing asset performance, and supporting the effective delivery of IT services. Collaboration with IT Service Management (ITSM) teams, overseeing asset tracking and management, as well as driving improvements in processes, data governance, and SLAs will be key aspects of this position. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT asset management, ITSM, or a similar IT operations role. - Strong understanding of ITIL (IT Service Management) processes, particularly in asset management and service delivery. - Experience with asset management tools and systems such as ServiceNow, Ivanti, BMC Remedy. - Knowledge of data governance principles and practices. - Experience in establishing and managing SLAs related to IT services and asset management. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Ability to work cross-functionally and manage vendor relationships effectively. Preferred Qualifications: - ITIL certification or other relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional). - Experience in data security practices related to IT asset disposal and data wiping. - Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, SOX, ISO 27001.
