Assembly Engineer

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the assembly of machines, equipment, or components according to engineering drawings and guidelines. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the assembly of machines, equipment, or components as per engineering drawings and guidelines. - Working on mechanical fitting, wiring, and sub-assembly activities under supervision. - Supporting senior engineers in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of assemblies. - Ensuring the proper use of tools, instruments, and measuring devices during assembly work. - Maintaining documentation and records related to assembly activities. - Adhering to quality standards, safety protocols, and timelines. - Coordinating with design and production teams for modifications or improvements. - Learning and implementing lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency. In order to succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: - Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical assembly processes. - Ability to read and understand engineering drawings & schematics. - Familiarity with tools, fasteners, and measuring instruments. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong attention to detail and quality. - Team player with good communication skills. Qualifications required for this position include a Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering or a related field.
