Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production of hydraulic systems and components, ensuring high-quality standards, and contributing to process improvements. This role demands a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, production workflows, and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate production activities related to hydraulic systems and components. Interpret engineering drawings, hydraulic circuit diagrams, and specifications to plan manufacturing processes. Monitor daily production output, efficiency, and quality; ensure targets are met. Implement and maintain lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Assist in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of hydraulic units. Ensure adherence to quality standards and assist in root cause analysis of defects. Collaborate with the design and R&D teams for product improvements and new product development. Prepare and maintain production documentation, reports, and logs. Train and support production technicians and operators on hydraulic assembly procedures. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 1 to 5 years in hydraulic production or assembly line operations. Solid understanding of hydraulic systems, components (pumps, valves, cylinders), and circuit logic. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering and hydraulic schematics. Hands-on experience with hydraulic assembly, pressure testing, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with manufacturing practices such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma is a plus. Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for review purposes. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and team collaboration skills. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Knowledge of ISO 9001 / TS16949 production standards. Experience with ERP systems in a production environment. Exposure to CNC machining or fabrication related to hydraulic components.
