Assembly Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembling Engineer – Medical Devices to join our team in the medical devices/equipment sector. The role involves assembling, testing, and troubleshooting medical devices while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company quality protocols. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with mechanical/electronic components and a strong understanding of medical-grade manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble medical devices and equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and engineering drawings.
• Perform quality checks and functional tests to ensure assembled units meet required specifications.
• Collaborate with design and R&D teams to improve assembly processes and address engineering issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of assembly steps, test results, and deviations (if any).
• Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO 13485, and other regulatory standards applicable to medical devices.
• Maintain cleanroom protocol and ESD safety practices during assembly.
• Identify and report defects or quality issues in parts or assemblies to the Quality Assurance (QA) team.
• Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and production ramp-ups.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks to meet production targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/ITI/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Biomedical, or related engineering field.
• 2–3 years of experience in assembly of medical devices.­­­­
• Knowledge of medical device manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA guidelines).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, soldering, and mechanical fastening methods.
• Basic understanding of cleanroom and ESD requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation abilities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
