About the Role
We are looking for an ASO Team Lead who can own and drive our app’s growth across Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a creative edge, who can lead a team to maximize organic installs, visibility, and conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Leadership
- Build and lead the ASO strategy across multiple apps and regions.
- Mentor and manage a small ASO team, ensuring productivity and continuous skill development.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Growth teams to align ASO efforts with business goals.
- Optimization & Growth
- Conduct keyword research, A/B testing, and competitor analysis to maximize visibility and conversion.
- Optimize app titles, descriptions, metadata, and creative assets (icons, screenshots, videos).
- Monitor rankings, downloads, retention, and user reviews to improve app store performance.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Track KPIs such as organic installs, keyword rankings, CTR, and CVR.
- Generate regular performance reports and actionable insights for leadership.
- Stay updated with App Store and Play Store algorithm changes, best practices, and trends.
Requirements
- Proven 4–7 years of experience in ASO, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of mobile marketing, user acquisition, and app store algorithms.
- Proficiency with ASO and analytics tools (AppTweak, Sensor Tower, Mobile Action, Data.ai, Firebase, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, project management, and leadership skills.
- Strong creative sense for visuals, copywriting, and A/B testing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
Good to Have
- Experience working in gaming, astrology, or consumer apps.
- Knowledge of localization strategies for global app markets.
- Familiarity with SEO and performance marketing.
