Area Sales Manager (Tiles Adhesive)

1. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement Plan, implement, and achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the region. Ensure both primary (distributor) and secondary (retailer/project) sales targets are met. Prepare area-wise sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans. Identify key growth areas and design territory-wise sales strategies. 2. Channel Development & Expansion Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, and retailers across the assigned region. Monitor distributor performance (stock, sales, collection, and claims). Conduct regular market visits to strengthen relationships and ensure product availability. Introduce schemes, incentives, and branding activities to boost channel engagement. 3. Project & Institutional Sales Development Business from builders, contractors, architects, and tile applicators. Build a project pipeline and coordinate with site engineers for product approvals and trials. Liaise with consultants and developers for inclusion of products in BOQs. 4. Team Leadership & Training Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of Sales Executives / Territory Sales Officers. Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure adherence to sales discipline. Train field staff, distributors, and influencers (masons/applicators) on product and selling skills. Ensure market mapping and daily reporting compliance from team members. 5. Marketing & Promotion Coordinate with the marketing team for regional trade activations and campaigns. Organize mason meets, dealer meets, product demos, and sampling activities. Enhance brand visibility through POP, site branding, and influencer programs. 6. Market Intelligence & Reporting Track competitor products, pricing, schemes, and market share. Provide insights on new opportunities, pricing strategy, and consumer behaviour. Submit daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on sales, collection, and market activities. Desired Candidate Profile Experience:- 5–10 years in building materials / construction chemicals / adhesives / paints / cement industry.
