Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales and store operations in Mumbai as an Area Sales Manager at The Sleep Company. Your primary goal will be to achieve and surpass sales targets, adhere to company SOP, manage leads effectively, handle team management, and ensure overall store operations run smoothly. You will lead a team of store managers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute successful sales strategies and planning: - Devise and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve growth and meet targets in the assigned territory. - Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges. As an Area Sales Manager, you will recruit, train, and motivate a team of customer representatives' executives and store managers to maximize their performance. Providing coaching and guidance to ensure store team members meet individual and collective objectives will be a key aspect of your role. You will be responsible for segmenting the area and allocating sales targets to the store teams accordingly. Monitoring sales performance across the area and taking necessary corrective actions will also fall under your purview. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction will be crucial in your role as an Area Sales Manager at The Sleep Company. Regularly reviewing sales data, performance reports, and metrics to assess progress towards goals, analyzing sales figures, identifying trends, and proposing strategies for improvement will be part of your responsibilities. Identifying potential market opportunities and untapped areas for business expansion, implementing plans to penetrate new markets, and increase the company's market share will be essential in your role. Collaborating closely with Head Office, Customer Care Team, Marketing, Accounts, Warehouse, and Logistic teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication, will be key aspects of your role. You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
