Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our business across Pune, Mumbai and Adjacent Regions & Surat, Vapi, Baruch and Adjacent Regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our specialized products including concrete densification solutions, floor coatings, and raised access flooring systems, primarily targeting industrial, commercial, and institutional infrastructure projects.

This role involves building strong relationships with architects, contractors, project consultants, and procurement teams, while identifying new business opportunities and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies in the region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage business in Pune, Mumbai, and surrounding regions.
  • Identify and visit key stakeholders including:
  • Architects
  • Consultants
  • Project Management Consultants (PMCs)
  • Civil Contractors and Builders
  • Promote and present product range for:
  • Concrete densification
  • Floor coating systems
  • Raised access flooring
  • Get our products specified in project BOQs through effective technical discussions and presentations.
  • Prepare and submit commercial proposals based on client requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing and close orders within company margins.
  • Maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers in the construction and infrastructure ecosystem.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new project developments.
  • Provide timely reports and updates to the sales head.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline, preferably with a background in

    Engineering

    or

    Civil Engineering.

  • Additional certifications or academic qualifications in sales or marketing will be considered an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated track record of 23 years in B2B technical sales or sales of building materials, with a strong focus on client acquisition and relationship management
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in flooring solutions, construction chemicals, building materials, or related industries
  • A well-established network of consultants, architects, and contractors within the region is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated and target-oriented, with the ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to travel extensively within the assigned region to meet business objectives and maintain client relationships.
  • Expertise in BOQ specification and project-based technical selling.
