Area Sales Manager - South Kerala

Boche Tea is a well-known brand in the FMCG sector, dedicated to delivering high-quality tea products to consumers in South India. As we continue to grow, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our sales team. It is essential that all applicants have prior experience in the FMCG industry. As a Sales Manager at Boche Tea, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing both primary and secondary sales activities within designated districts in South Kerala. You will be responsible for building and leading a team of Sales Officers and field executives. Developing strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers is crucial, along with driving distribution growth in the region. You will also be involved in planning and executing promotional events and product launches, while keeping a close eye on competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, and providing regular sales reports, market feedback, and forecasts to the Head Office are key aspects of this role. To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably within the Tea industry. A successful track record of managing large territories and achieving sales goals is required. In-depth knowledge of distributor networks in South Kerala, along with strong leadership, negotiation, and team management skills are essential. The ability to work independently with a focus on results, along with a willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region is also necessary. Proficiency in both Malayalam and English languages is mandatory. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field will be given preference. Previous experience in handling both rural and urban markets in South Kerala, as well as strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, are advantageous. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including food provision, health insurance, and provident fund.
