Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sales

  • Drive personal loan sales in the assigned area to achieve monthly and annual business targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, build and expand the customer base.
  • Develop tie-ups with DSAs, channel partners, and direct sourcing methods.
  • Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales executives/relationship officers.
  • Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and ensure productivity levels are met.
  • Motivate and retain high-performing team members.
  • Channel & Partner Management

  • Build strong relationships with DSAs, connectors, and other sourcing partners.
  • Ensure partner satisfaction through timely payouts, support, and engagement activities.
  • Compliance & Risk

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, audit guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor portfolio quality and ensure minimal delinquency in personal loan business.
  • Market Intelligence

  • Keep track of competitor activities, market trends, and provide inputs for business strategy.
  • Share feedback with senior management for product improvements and process enhancements.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
  • 58 years of experience in retail lending, with at least 2–3 years in team handling for personal loans.
  • Strong local market knowledge of Mysore and nearby regions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of personal loan products and local market dynamics.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, and team handling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sourcing channels and drive high productivity.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
