Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager – Projects with a strong background in the building materials industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project sales, with established relationships with major contractors, builders, architects, consultants, and other key stakeholders. The role involves driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales:

Identify and target new projects, contractors, builders, architects, and consultants to generate business opportunities.

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Drive sales through strong networking, relationship management, and strategic negotiations.

Project Management & Execution:

Monitor ongoing projects and ensure smooth execution by coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Ensure timely supply of materials and resolve project-related challenges.

Work closely with the technical team to provide customized solutions to project requirements.

Key Account Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure repeat business.

Engage in contract negotiations and provide after-sales support.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.

Provide regular reports on market intelligence and competitor pricing strategies.

Collaboration & Coordination:

Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies tailored for project sales.

Coordinate with internal departments like supply chain, finance, and operations to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Requirements:

Experience: 5+ years in sales within the building materials industry, with a focus on projects.

Industry Exposure: Must have strong connections with major contractors, builders, architects, and consultants.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Skills:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

Strong project management and strategic planning abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,885.95 - ₹58,332.67 per month
