Role Objective:

To drive sales growth and market penetration of Prescon Electricals product range across West Uttar Pradesh and surrounding regions by building strong channel networks, developing relationships with contractors and dealers, and ensuring collection and brand presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Target Achievement

• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets across all product categories.

• Drive secondary sales through dealer network and ensure repeat orders.

• Identify and convert institutional, government, and project-based sales opportunities.

2. Channel Development & Management

• Appoint new dealers and distributors in untapped areas.

• Strengthen relationships with existing channel partners through regular visits and support.

• Monitor dealer performance and ensure profitability.

3. Product Promotion & Market Activation

• Conduct product demos and electrician meets in the region.

• Ensure effective in-shop branding and merchandising at retail counters.

• Coordinate with marketing team for promotional campaigns and exhibitions.

4. Payment & Collection Follow-up

• Ensure timely collection of outstanding dues from distributors and dealers.

• Maintain credit discipline as per company policy.

• Resolve billing or payment issues promptly.

5. Reporting & Coordination

• Share daily visit reports, sales updates, and competitor insights with head office.

• Coordinate with factory/logistics for timely dispatch and delivery.

• Provide feedback on market trends and pricing strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Graduate in any stream (MBA Preferred)

• Experience: 5-8 years in sales of electrical products (Modular switches, MCBs, Wires & Cables)

• Territory Knowledge: Good understanding of Agra and nearby districts

• Language: Hindi (preferred), English (working knowledge)

• Travel: Must be open to local and regional travel

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Existing network of electrical dealers and contractors

• Experience in government tenders or institutional supply (added advantage)

• Strong follow-up, communication, and negotiation skills

• Tech-savvy with knowledge of reporting tools and Excel

Compensation & Benefits:

• Fixed Salary: As per industry standards

• Incentives: Target-based monthly & quarterly incentives
