Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the food and beverage sector.
  • Plan and execute area-specific sales strategies to meet objectives.

2. Channel Management

  • Manage and develop relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and availability across channels.
  • Monitor distributor performance and ensure efficient secondary sales operations.

3. Market Analysis & Planning

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
  • Provide inputs for pricing, promotional plans, and new product launches.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.

4. Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Officers / Territory Sales Executives.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching and guidance.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, systems, and reporting norms.

5. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and trade partners.
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and service issues promptly.
  • Promote brand loyalty and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG / food & beverages industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/sales reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
