Area Sales Manager - OSWAAL BOOKS As an Area Sales Manager at OSWAAL BOOKS, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue generation across various regions of India. Your role will involve extensive travel within your assigned territory to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct sales activities. Key Responsibilities: - Territory Management: Manage a designated sales territory by identifying potential clients, conducting market research, and understanding customer needs. - New Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers. - Client Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations, and sales presentations with prospective clients to provide tailored solutions. - Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets. Collaborate with the sales team on pricing strategies and promotional activities. - Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate sales records and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred. - 3-9 years of successful field sales experience. - Local geography knowledge of the assigned territory. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational and time management abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to travel extensively within India.
