Area Sales Manager-General Trade (Appliance)

You will be responsible for the overall sales management in the Mumbai, Thane, and Upcountry areas in the FMCD/Consumer Durable/Electrical & FMCG industry. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Develop monthly sales plans for different categories/products/channels in consultation with key distributors and dealers - Monitor daily sales performance, compare with targets, and track billing for every channel - Update and maintain daily sales reports - Ensure product mix in sales and place orders for products - Communicate new product launches to the market and ensure timely execution - Monitor competitors" activities in the market - Supervise the effective use of POP materials and ensure prominent display of company products in retail shops - Ensure the achievement of company objectives monthly and communicate the same to the team - Provide excellent customer service - Identify new distributors and markets, develop new territories, and address brand availability issues - Diversify channel mix to reduce dependency on distributors - Coordinate with logistics to ensure the right product mix and timely delivery to distributors In addition, you will be required to control costs, monitor and implement promotional activities, and address dealer/distributor issues. You will also be responsible for providing on-the-job training to your subordinates. Remark: - Good communication skills and a clear understanding of the sales process are essential - Stable candidates with strong exposure to channel sales and team handling experience are preferred - Proficiency in data analytics and Excel is required - Willingness to travel for a minimum of 4 to 5 days is necessary - Candidates with a minimum business handling experience of 15 Crs PA and above will be considered - Only candidates with a 30 to 45-day notice period will be considered.,
