Job Description

Area Sales Manager – Distribution Sales (Fans & Geysers)*- Mumbai / Pune
Location:* Mumbai / Pune (based out of either location)
For:* Leading Fans & Geyser Manufacturer
Experience:* 10–15 years in FMCG / Appliance Distribution Sales
Salary:* ₹80,000 – ₹1,00,000/month + Incentives + Car Allowance,
Reports To:* Regional Sales Manager

📌 *Role Overview:*You’re the *sales dynamo* driving fans & geysers across Western India (Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Nashik, and beyond). You’ll crack deals, build distributor networks, and make sure our products are top sellers in every electric shop & retail corner.✅ *Key Responsibilities:*🔹 *Sales & Growth*

Manage 5–8 distributors; drive volume & value
Hit monthly/quarterly targets — aggressively!
Expand reach in urban & rural markets

🔹 *Channel Mastery*

Partner with key retailers, e-com platforms, dealers
Run promotions, demos, POS branding
Resolve trade issues — fast & smart

🔹 *Market Insights*

Track competitors — pricing, launches, schemes
Share customer feedback & trends
Identify new opportunities — towns, outlets, segments

🔹 *Execution & Ops*

Monitor stocks, manage inventory health
Ensure clean invoicing & collections
Use Excel/WhatsApp for daily tracking

🔹 *Team Lead*

Mentor junior sales execs
Weekly reviews, coaching, motivation
Own your territory — own your results!

🎯 *Must-Have Qualifications:*
✔️ 10–15 years in distribution sales — preferably appliances✔️ Proven track record in Western India markets✔️ Strong negotiation & relationship skills✔️ Travels 50–70% — Mumbai/Pune+ nearby regions✔️ Owns a 2-wheeler or car (car allowance + fuel)💼 *Perks & Benefits:*
